Hallie Morton is an A/V technician, composer, and multi-instrumentalist from Northern Virginia. Based in Philadelphia, they are a recent graduate from Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance who earned a Bachelors of Science in Music Technology and Composition. Ranging from classical to metal, her music explores individual and large scale consciousness, interaction, and structure. Morton previously studied with Dr. Matthew Greenbaum, Dr. David Bennett Thomas, and Dr. Erin Busch. Their pieces have been performed and endorsed by the Singing Owls, Temple’s New Music Ensemble, Wildflower Composers, and various local musicians. As a technician, Morton has supported countless live events in entertainment, education, and corporate fields over the past 4 years. Their experience has reinforced productions throughout the city, such as FringeFest, Temple University, and University of Pennsylvania. Morton’s passion for their craft has encouraged them to expand the overlapping boundaries of technical efficiency and creative expression.
